About the Captain
Captain Costa Moreshead (colloquially called Captain Costa by his closest friends) earned his US Coast Guard OPUV license in 2016. His passion for fishing, especially for striper, started many years prior. Costa spent countless hours as a child on the beaches of Biddeford Pool with a fishing pole in hand and eyes on the water; this is where his passion for fishing developed. Years later he continued to hone his skills as a mate aboard the vessels “Hammer Time” and the “Striper Swiper”. Captain Costa has a keen knowledge of the local waters and loves teaching anyone and everyone about his tried and true fishing techniques. Captain Costa currently owns and operates out of Kennebunkport on the vessel “Louise T.”. The "Louise T." is a 2018 Clearwater center console powered by a 250 horsepower Honda outboard, she is equipped with Simrad electronics. Off the water, Costa works at his family’s business as a machinist and in the winter months you find him on the ski slopes or snowmobile trails of western Maine. Costa has a deep love for his dog Quigley and kitten Okuma.
